Agile speaks of putting people first. In my experience, however, people are the poor stepchild to process and tools. It’s not about getting scrum teams “more agile” it’s about shaping the organization's culture to support agile development. To achieve this end goal, we must create the right culture. How do we engage and motivate our staff to support an agile workforce? How do we hire the right people? What is a manager's role in this new self-organized culture? How do we meaningfully connect the team with the customer? How do we maintain the magic of a startup that scales across a large organization? We ask a lot of questions, but often, we haven’t found the answers. In this highly practical session, these and other questions, will be answered, arming you with the knowledge and tools to keep people first.
